Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems, scope projects, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Translate complex analytical findings and model results into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and best practices within the team.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our data science roadmap, identifying new opportunities for AI/ML application.
- Optimize model performance, monitor deployment, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our data products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, research papers, and emerging technologies in AI, ML, and data science.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a strong focus on machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and/or R.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, causality, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts and data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of deploying ML models into production environments and monitoring their performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning.
