Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Perform extensive data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to optimize model performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of deployed models in production environments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Mentor junior data scientists and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Conduct A/B testing and rigorous experimentation to validate hypotheses and drive product iterations.
- Translate technical findings into compelling visualizations and reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, machine learning, or a similar analytical role.
- Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and deep learning libraries.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
