Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive analytics and recommendation systems
- Translate business requirements into data science solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis to drive product optimization
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model deployment and monitoring
- Present insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and storytelling
- Research emerging techniques in NLP, deep learning, and causal inference
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable production of data products
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with proven impact in tech or finance
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL with large datasets
- Strong statistical foundation with experience in experimental design and causal inference
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud ML services
- Experience with MLOps practices and CI/CD for ML models
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
