Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive modeling and optimization
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced statistical methods
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and causal inference projects for product teams
- Present findings to C-level executives through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model deployment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with production ML models
- Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed computing (Spark/Dask)
- Strong portfolio showcasing NLP, time-series analysis, or computer vision projects
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
