Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and customer segmentation
- Develop data pipelines using Python, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Mentor junior data scientists and drive best practices in MLOps
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with measurable impact
- Present findings to C-suite stakeholders and product leadership
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science with proven portfolio of production ML models
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL with large datasets
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong A/B testing framework implementation experience
- Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift) and orchestration tools (Airflow)
- Demonstrable experience in fintech or regulated industries
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
