Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines using Python, TensorFlow, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Develop statistical models to predict customer behavior, optimize pricing strategies, and identify market opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data science solutions
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and causal inference studies to validate model impact
- Mentor junior scientists and champion best practices in MLOps and data governance
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expert proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, pandas) and SQL with optimization techniques
- Proven track record deploying production ML models handling >1M daily transactions
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling (regression, time-series, Bayesian methods)
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms
- Strong communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful ML projects with measurable business impact
- Preferred: Publications at NeurIPS/ICML or experience in fintech/healthcare domains
