Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning models to solve complex business challenges.
- Translate high-level business goals into rigorous analytical frameworks and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to architect robust data pipelines and feature stores.
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends and performance optimizations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of rigorous code review and technical documentation.
- Present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders to influence company-wide strategy.
- Monitor model performance in production and iterate continuously for improved accuracy.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, specifically in a high-growth tech environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R is a plus.
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
- Proven expertise in cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
- Solid track record of deploying models into production environments using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex insights for non-technical audiences.
