Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ML/DL models for predictive analytics and recommendation systems
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis to validate model performance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices in the team
- Research emerging AI techniques and propose innovative applications
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with production ML systems
- Expert proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and SQL
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end data science projects
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling and experimental design
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
