Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy predictive models for financial risk assessment and customer segmentation
- Design scalable data pipelines processing terabytes of transactional data daily
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using A/B testing frameworks
- Create executive-level visualizations and narratives communicating complex insights
- Mentor junior data scientists and champion data literacy across departments
- Collaborate with product teams to embed analytics into core platform features
- Lead research initiatives on novel applications of ML in financial services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data science or analytics roles
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical programming (R/SAS)
- Proven expertise with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Strong background in financial services or fintech domain
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data warehousing
- Excellent communication skills presenting to non-technical stakeholders
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Published research or patents in applied ML or data analytics preferred
