Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive modeling and anomaly detection
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready models with AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using statistical analysis
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and experiment design for product optimization
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and champion data literacy across departments
- Stay current with emerging techniques in NLP, deep learning, and causal inference
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL with PostgreSQL/BigQuery
- Proven track record of deploying production ML systems at scale
- Strong statistical foundation with Bayesian inference and experimental design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI) and MLOps
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful data science projects with business outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
