Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive analytics and business optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis to drive product decisions
- Mentor junior data scientists and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Research emerging ML techniques and implement novel solutions for competitive advantage
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL with billion-row dataset handling
- Proven track record of deploying production ML models using cloud services
- Strong statistical foundation with experimental design and causal inference knowledge
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and dashboard development
- Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ impactful data science projects
