Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable ML pipelines for multi-omics data analysis (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics)
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis formulation to clinical validation
- Develop novel algorithms for biomarker discovery and patient stratification
- Collaborate with computational biologists to optimize wet-lab/dry-lab integration
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders at industry conferences
- Mentor junior scientists and establish best practices for reproducible research
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related quantitative field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in Python/R with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science/Cell or equivalent top-tier journals
- Strong background in statistical genetics and high-dimensional data analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies
