Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition in healthcare datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from data collection through model deployment
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to validate model performance
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience building production-level ML models with Python/R
- Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Strong statistical foundation with experience in experimental design and causal inference
- Proven track record of deploying models in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with healthcare data and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) preferred
