Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ML models for forecasting, classification, and recommendation systems
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using Python, R, and SQL
- Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production environments
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct peer code reviews
- Stay current with emerging ML techniques through research and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning and statistical modeling
- Expert proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, experimental design, and A/B testing
- Proven track record of deploying production ML systems at scale
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful data science projects
