Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ML algorithms for predictive analytics and natural language processing
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from data acquisition to model deployment
- Mentor junior scientists and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Research and implement novel techniques in deep learning and reinforcement learning
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
- Present research findings at industry conferences and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven track record of deploying ML systems at scale serving 1M+ users
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference
- Experience with healthcare data (HIPAA-compliant) or climate modeling preferred
- Publication record in top-tier ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
