Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ML models for predictive analytics and natural language processing
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis to production deployment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into scalable cloud infrastructure
- Translate complex findings into actionable business insights for stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model validation
- Conduct A/B tests and experimental design to optimize product features
- Stay current with emerging research and implement state-of-the-art techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science or ML engineering roles
- Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful ML model deployments
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and CI/CD pipelines
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or conference presentations in data science/ML domains
