Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy production-level ML models for predictive analytics using Python and TensorFlow
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis testing to stakeholder presentations
- Optimize data pipelines using Spark and AWS Glue for real-time processing
- Design A/B tests to validate model performance and business impact
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for reproducible research
- Translate technical findings into strategic recommendations for executive leadership
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of applied data science experience in fintech or similar regulated industries
- Expertise in scikit-learn, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong SQL skills with experience in financial data modeling
- Published research or patents in applied ML/AI domains
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) preferred
