Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to integrate data products into our core platform.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and exploratory data research to uncover key performance drivers.
- Lead the evaluation of new machine learning frameworks and toolsets to enhance team efficiency.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality and reproducibility.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling data visualizations.
- Optimize production models for performance, latency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a proven track record of deploying models into production.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Scala or C++ is a plus.
- Deep understanding of machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD for machine learning pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
