Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for real-time data processing
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis to production deployment
- Develop novel algorithms to optimize predictive accuracy and model interpretability
- Translate complex findings into actionable business strategies for C-level stakeholders
- Architect data infrastructure supporting 10M+ daily transactions
- Drive A/B testing frameworks to validate model performance
- Mentor junior scientists through technical workshops and code reviews
Qualifications
- PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years building production ML systems at scale
- Expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of Bayesian inference, causal inference, and experimental design
- Proven track record publishing at NeurIPS/ICML/KDD or equivalent industry impact
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and MLOps tools
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
