- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize existing models for speed and accuracy, ensuring high-performance production environments.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in Deep Learning and NLP to recommend cutting-edge solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior data scientists and conduct code reviews to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL, and R.
- Frameworks: Solid experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or cloud-based ML services (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
