Responsibilities
- Model Architecture & Development: Design, train, and deploy robust machine learning models and deep learning architectures using Python and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Data Strategy: Lead the end-to-end data pipeline lifecycle, from ETL processes and data warehousing to data visualization and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and domain experts to define technical requirements and solve complex business problems.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of the industry by exploring cutting-edge research papers and integrating new algorithms into our production environment.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance, accuracy, and scalability, implementing A/B testing strategies to drive product improvements.
- Mentorship: Guide junior data scientists and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Frameworks: Strong experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle unstructured problems and derive insights from large, complex datasets.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical role.
