Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive modeling and anomaly detection
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify market trends and customer behavior patterns
- Develop scalable data products using Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists and champion best practices in data engineering and MLOps
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to validate data-driven hypotheses and optimize product features
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with proven portfolio of deployed ML models
- Expert proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud data warehousing
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or conference presentations in data science/ML a plus
