Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data collection, cleaning, and analysis for federal health statistics and policy reports.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with policy advisors, IT specialists, and external agencies to interpret complex datasets.
- Conduct advanced statistical modeling and predictive analysis to forecast public health trends.
- Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences in both written reports and executive briefings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis within the public sector or a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Deep understanding of federal compliance standards, including NIST frameworks and FOIA regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
