Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
- Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Design and implement statistical models to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to define KPIs and establish data-driven performance metrics
- Present analytical findings to executive leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
- Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure data accuracy
- mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for data manipulation
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Strong statistical knowledge including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies
- Proven ability to translate complex data into business narratives for non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful data-driven projects and visualizations
