Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights
- Design and automate recurring reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders
- Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and drive product improvements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data pipeline optimizations
- Present findings to leadership teams and translate technical results into business recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for data governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience with proven track record
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and R
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong statistical knowledge including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating analytical projects with measurable business impact
