Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols for federal systems
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
- Develop security awareness training programs for government personnel
- Collaborate with law enforcement on threat intelligence and investigations
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Maintain and update security documentation and incident reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity or critical infrastructure protection
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security, penetration testing, and threat analysis
- Experience with SIEM platforms and security orchestration tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Strong communication skills for cross-agency collaboration
- Knowledge of federal regulatory frameworks (CUI, FedRAMP)
