Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of highly secure, scalable, and resilient architectural solutions for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to engineering and product teams on security-by-design principles.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance our security capabilities.
- Drive incident response planning and participate in security incident investigations, offering architectural insights.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2).
- Present complex security concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security architecture leadership role.
- Deep expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, application security, and data protection.
- Proficiency with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience with secure SDLC, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and secure communication protocols.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable.
