Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks across federal agencies.
- Conduct high-level risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure.
- Draft technical policy documentation and briefing materials for agency leadership.
- Lead cross-functional task forces to address emerging threat vectors and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies for integration into public sector systems.
- Provide expert guidance on NIST and FISMA compliance standards.
- Coordinate with national intelligence and law enforcement partners regarding threat intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy or policy development.
- Proven expertise in federal regulatory frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
