Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies compliant with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional agency teams to identify vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure.
- Lead policy briefings for senior government stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Assess the technical impact of emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate existing compliance programs and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Draft high-level technical documentation and policy guidance for inter-agency review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity policy or technical program management.
- Deep understanding of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal security mandates.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable executive policies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high-level stakeholder engagement.
