Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies compliant with federal NIST standards.
- Coordinate with interagency stakeholders to evaluate and mitigate emerging cyber threats to government infrastructure.
- Lead risk assessment audits and provide actionable strategic guidance to executive leadership.
- Draft high-level briefing memos and technical reports for oversight committees.
- Drive the adoption of Zero Trust architecture across departmental network environments.
- Facilitate training workshops to enhance digital security awareness among government staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, policy development, or information assurance.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in complex project management within the public sector.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining/maintaining a government security clearance.
