Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity architectures to protect federal assets.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement during security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert technical guidance to junior staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
