SentinelGate Systems is a pioneer in AI-driven threat intelligence, and we are looking for a elite Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team in San Francisco. You will be responsible for architecting resilient, cloud-native security controls that protect our global customers from sophisticated threat actors.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security controls for multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct deep-dive forensic analysis for security incidents.
- Develop and maintain automated security scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce 'Security by Design' principles across infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Conduct regular penetration testing and threat modeling exercises to identify system weaknesses.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion a security-first engineering culture.
- Stay ahead of emerging threat vectors and evaluate new security technologies for integration.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Information Security.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS/GCP security services (IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty).
- Hands-on experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and orchestration protection.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Ruby for security automation.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, encryption standards, and web application security (OWASP Top 10).
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly preferred.
