Responsibilities
- Architect and implement comprehensive cloud-native security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Design and maintain automated security orchestration and response (SOAR) workflows to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps teams to integrate 'Security-by-Design' principles into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Lead incident response investigations, forensic analysis, and post-mortem reporting for high-severity security events.
- Mentor junior security analysts and promote security best practices throughout the engineering organization.
- Ensure continuous compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity, specifically focusing on cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) for security automation.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Datadog, or similar) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
- Deep understanding of network security, IAM protocols, and encryption standards.
- Active industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity and professional discretion.
