Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust defense strategies against sophisticated cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud-native environments.
- Lead incident response efforts, performing deep-dive forensic analysis to identify root causes.
- Develop and maintain automated security scripts to streamline threat detection processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the SDLC.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to internal cybersecurity training programs.
- Monitor global threat intelligence feeds to proactively update security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in security engineering or incident response.
- Deep understanding of AWS/Azure security architectures and container security (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for security automation.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK) and EDR solutions.
- Industry certifications like CISSP, OSCP, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex security risks into actionable business insights.
