Responsibilities
- Design and deploy multi-layered security architectures across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead incident response activities, conducting deep-dive forensics on security breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise applications.
- Automate security workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline threat detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage and optimize SIEM platforms, including threat hunting and log correlation logic.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to internal security whitepapers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or infrastructure security.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, firewall configuration, and encryption standards.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proven ability to analyze complex system logs and identify advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.
