Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures for cloud-native applications and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct comprehensive security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments across the SDLC.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis, containment, eradication, and post-incident reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong security-first culture throughout the organization.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to integrate security seamlessly into product development.
- Automate security processes and implement Security as Code principles to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) including native security services.
- Proven experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and web application security (OWASP Top 10).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices security best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.
