Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security solutions for cloud-native and on-premise environments.
- Lead incident response activities, conducting deep-dive forensic analysis on security breaches.
- Develop and maintain automated security workflows using Python or Go to improve detection coverage.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles.
- Manage and optimize SIEM, EDR, and IAM platforms for maximum visibility and threat mitigation.
- Mentor junior security analysts and provide technical guidance on complex security incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, network defense, or incident response.
- Deep understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Active industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CISM.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- Demonstrable experience with security tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively under high-pressure scenarios.
