Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise-grade security controls for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead threat hunting missions and conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and implement automation scripts for continuous security monitoring and response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the SDLC.
- Manage incident response workflows and conduct comprehensive post-mortem forensic analysis.
- Define and enforce security compliance policies (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a security-first engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in security engineering or DevSecOps.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure security configurations and cloud-native security tools.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Expert-level knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR solutions, and firewall management.
- Relevant certifications highly preferred: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or AWS Certified Security.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high sense of urgency.
