Responsibilities
- Design and deploy robust security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts, performing deep-dive forensic analysis on security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell to streamline response workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies to improve the organizational security posture.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to internal security training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in security engineering or incident response.
- Deep understanding of cloud security models (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, network security protocols, and encryption standards.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk or Elastic Security.
