Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions for cloud-native applications and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management across our entire technology stack.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Lead incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery, and perform post-mortem analysis.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and approaches to enhance our defensive capabilities.
- Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to security principles.
- Drive continuous improvement in our security posture through automation and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering roles, with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with cloud security best practices and services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, PowerShell) for automation and security tool development.
- Deep understanding of network security, application security, data security, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF).
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.
