Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Lead complex threat hunting initiatives and conduct deep-dive forensic analysis on security incidents.
- Develop and automate security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) playbooks to minimize dwell time.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate 'Security-by-Design' principles into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation lifecycle for critical infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of the organization's Zero Trust architecture.
- Manage security compliance auditing and documentation to meet SOC2 and ISO 27001 standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in security engineering, incident response, or cloud security.
- Deep technical expertise in network security, endpoint detection, and IAM best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, Prisma Cloud, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation purposes.
- Active professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Proven ability to communicate complex security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
