Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architectures, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises to identify and mitigate risks before they materialize.
- Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps and IT teams to integrate 'Security by Design' into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct deep-dive forensic analysis and incident response reviews to harden system defenses.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of proactive security awareness.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, and SASE solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or architecture.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security configurations.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, cryptography, and identity management (IAM).
- Proven ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable technical designs.
