Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-level security solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive security assessments on existing infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce zero-trust security policies and identity access management frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as a senior subject matter expert during incident response and security breach investigations.
- Define and maintain security standards, governance protocols, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, NIST, HIPAA).
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security-first development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in information security, with at least 3 years in architecture.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in network security, including NGFW, SIEM, EDR, and intrusion detection systems.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
- Proven ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
