Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architectures utilizing Zero Trust frameworks.
- Lead threat modeling exercises for complex cloud and on-premise hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Perform deep-dive analysis on emerging security threats and provide mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for security compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security-first development.
- Oversee the selection and deployment of next-generation security tooling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or information security engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure cloud security services and identity management.
- Active industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go for security automation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing security within Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to executive stakeholders.
