Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture, focusing on Zero Trust and Cloud-native security models.
- Conduct regular threat modeling exercises and vulnerability assessments on high-traffic distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Lead incident response strategies and drive post-mortem root cause analysis.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge security technologies to enhance our detection and prevention capabilities.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Mentor junior security analysts and promote a security-first culture across the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering, architecture, or systems administration.
- Advanced proficiency with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of containerization security (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security, cryptography, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Proven ability to translate complex technical security concepts into actionable business insights for stakeholders.
