Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architecture, including cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises to proactively identify and mitigate systemic vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for executive stakeholders on cybersecurity risk management.
- Oversee the deployment of advanced endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
- Mentor junior security engineers and cultivate a culture of security-first development.
- Conduct regular architectural reviews to ensure alignment with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in an architecture role.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS or Azure security controls and architecture.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture, IAM, and cryptographic protocols.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale security projects from conception to deployment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
