SentinelGuard Systems is seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite defense-sector security team. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain end-to-end security architectures for cloud-native and on-premise environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive risk assessments for new product features.
- Act as the subject matter expert during complex security incidents and forensic investigations.
- Define and implement zero-trust security frameworks across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and oversee POCs for next-gen detection platforms.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a security-first culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in information security architecture.
- Deep proficiency with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and identity management protocols (OIDC, SAML).
- Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, encryption standards, and threat intelligence.
- Industry-standard certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS/GIAC.
- Proven track record of hardening complex distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate risk to executive leadership.
