Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-layered security architectures for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive risk assessments on mission-critical applications.
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for incident response and high-level forensic investigations.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of proactive threat intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security architecture.
- Proven expertise in AWS or Azure security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Strong proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, TLS/SSL) and firewall administration.
- Active industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, or Sumo Logic).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical executive stakeholders.
