SentinelCore Systems is at the forefront of digital defense, providing high-stakes security architecture for enterprise-level clients. We are seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite team in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will design robust, scalable, and resilient security frameworks that protect critical infrastructure against advanced persistent threats.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement Zero Trust architectures, cloud-native security protocols, and real-time threat detection systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade security solutions across hybrid-cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead the design of Zero Trust network access (ZTNA) and identity management strategies.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability management cycles for global platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Design and maintain incident response playbooks for sophisticated cyber-attacks.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to long-term security roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in information security, specifically in architecture.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud security configuration and compliance standards.
- Advanced knowledge of encryption, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and SIEM platforms (Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar).
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Experience with compliance frameworks including SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex risks to non-technical stakeholders.
