Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive enterprise security architectures covering cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises to identify system vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the SDLC.
- Conduct regular architectural audits to ensure compliance with NIST, SOC2, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security awareness.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging security technologies to maintain a competitive defensive posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or information security leadership.
- Deep understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Advanced proficiency in Zero Trust architecture, IAM, encryption protocols, and network security.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Proven track record of leading complex security projects in regulated environments.
